Warehousing Service
Storage services "refer to business activities that provide storage, preservation, and related supporting services for cargo owners or customers. It is a crucial link in supply chain management, connecting production and consumption.
Storage and Preservation of Goods:
Provide a secure location (warehouse) for storing goods. Ensure the quality and safety of goods during storage (moisture-proof, fireproof, anti-theft, insect and rodent proof, temperature and humidity control, etc.). Reasonably plan the interior space of the warehouse and improve its utilization rate.
Inventory management
Record the inbound, outbound, transfer, inventory and other operations of goods. Real time tracking of inventory quantity, status (good, defective, awaiting inspection, etc.), batch, and expiration date. Provide inventory reports and analysis to help customers optimize inventory levels, reduce backlog and stockout risks.
Inbound and outbound operations:
Warehousing: receiving goods, verifying documents, inspecting (quantity, quality, packaging), labeling/barcode application, and shelving for storage.
Outbound: receiving orders, picking goods (picking by order, batch picking, batch picking, etc.), reviewing, packaging, weighing, labeling, and handing over to the logistics party.
Loading and unloading: Use equipment such as forklifts, ground oxen, and conveyor belts to load and unload goods and move them inside the warehouse.
Order processing and fulfillment:
Receive and process customer shipping orders (B2B, B2C).
Efficiently and accurately complete the process of order picking, packaging, and shipping (often in coordination with courier/logistics companies).
Handle reverse logistics such as returns and exchanges.
Supplier Managed Inventory: Representing customers in managing their suppliers' inventory.
Bonded warehousing: storing imported goods that have not been taxed under customs supervision.
Information system services: Provide warehouse management system access or data services.
Customs declaration and inspection: related services involving import and export goods.
Delivery service: Some warehousing service providers also provide "warehouse and distribution integrated" delivery services.
